Another central Queensland venue has opened under the Quest banner with newly appointed Federal MP of Capricornia on hand to help launch the property.

Federal MP, Michelle Landry, joined Rockhampton Mayor, Councillor Margaret Strelow, to officially open the latest Quest property in central Queensland; this follows on from the recent opening of a $30m Quest Serviced Apartments property in Mackay.

General manager – locations for Quest Serviced Apartments, Andrew Weisz said “As the fastest growing supplier of serviced apartments globally, our core growth strategy is to open properties in areas which will support a successful accommodation business in the long term. The growing economy in Rockhampton indicates this will be the case.

“We now have over 150 properties located throughout Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Opening this property is further validation of the growing need for our style of quality accommodation in regional Australia.”

Quest Rockhampton also announced a $2000 donation to the Rotary Club of Rockhampton, which has a major focus on mental health, and in particular, the prevention of youth suicide.
