AustraliaÕs largest pool and spa maintenance franchise, PoolWerx, is teaming up with Royal Life Saving Australia to target swimming pools as part of its mission to help prevent avoidable drowning. The timing of this partnership comes when swimming, both in the sea and in pools, is at a high due to the warm summer weather.

As part of this joint campaign poolside safety inspections will be carried out by PoolWerx franchisees across Australia, free of charge. The pool safety audit will educate concerned pool owners and teach them how to be safe in and around the water.

Royal Life Saving CEO, Rob Bradley, said, “By partnering with PoolWerx we can share our simple but vitally important messages about preventing drowning and disease in swimming pools.”

PoolWerx CEO John OÕBrien is delighted to be involved in such a good cause.

“Royal Life Saving has been serving Australia for more than 100 years, and what is more important than saving lives? PoolWerx has more than 300 pool technicians in backyards every day around Australia, and we look forward to working with Royal Life Saving in their quest to eliminate preventable drownings.”
