Pampered pooches to get spa treatment

Sarah Stowe

If grooming the four-legged friend just isn’t enough for dog devotees, now Aussie Pooch Mobile is introducing a facial treatment for pampered pooches.

In November the Aromacare Doggy Facial will be on the list of services franchisees can provide customers.

Christine Taylor, Aussie Pooch Mobile founder and recent inductee to the Franchise Council Hall of Fame, said “We already wash and blow-dry dogs, provide ear and eye cleaning, offer clipping services and doggy massage, so a doggy facial was the next logical step.

“We researched the facial with the help of a beautician, a dog masseuse and customer feedback from our initial testing which provided us the platform to launch this unique service.”

So what’s involved?

The facial includes a head massage and celans, exfoliates and nourishes a dog’s coat, to ensure it looks and feels great using an essential oil cleanser.

Franchisees receive a training video and instruction on the three to five minute treatment, and have access to the therapists involved in the launch for further advice.
