Michael Paul, manager and founder of franchise Pack & Send, was hailed Franchisor of the Year 2007 at the PricewaterhouseCoopers Excellence in Franchising Awards at the gala finale to the National Franchise and Small Business Convention (NFC07). Winning this award now puts Pack & Send at the top of more than 1,000 franchise systems, seeing off stiff competition from well known franchises such as Red Rooster, Gloria Jeans and Boost Juice, to name a few.

Paul started the company in 1993 with the first store located in Parramatta, Sydney. After just 14 years, it now boasts more than 90 stores on a national scale and employs 600,000 staff. Filling a niche market in the multi billion dollar logistics industry, Pack & Send specialises in transporting fragile, large, awkward and valuable goods for businesses and individuals, providing a complete service of tailored packaging, transport and tracking solutions.

The unique franchise makes its services accessible through its shop front destination retail businesses, predominantly located on main roads at the fringe of a city.
