Oporto’s reach has expanded to encompass the west coast, with its first Western Australian store opening in Perth on December 29.

The company hopes to open up to ten new stores across the Perth metropolitan area within the next year, which means there are many franchising opportunities available for interested parties.

According to the Oporto website, the company opens an average of 15 stores each year, and over 140 stores are currently in operation across Australia and New Zealand.

Furthermore, the company believes that it is well placed to meet the demands of its younger demographic who crave a more adventurous flavour experience.

Mark Bayliss, CEO, Quick Service Restaurant Holdings Group, the company that also looks after Red Rooster and Chicken Treat, believes there is great potential for the Oporto brand on the west coast.

“We have long wanted to bring Oporto to the west and we are now in a position to do so. We are looking for highly motivated business partners who will work in their business and on the development of the brand in this new and untapped market,” he said.
