There’s a new focus on franchising in Western Australia with a one-day table-top event planned for a November outing this year.

Thanks to the mining boom that’s now over, there are cashed-up buyers in the region looking to invest in a new career.

Franchise Opportunities Roadshow

The WA State Chapter Committee of the FCA is supporting the one day Franchise Opportunities Roadshow for under 40 franchise brands which will take place on Sunday 8 November, from 10am to 4pm, at the Crown Perth Burswood.

Free entry, and a free seminar program, are part of the attraction for potential franchise buyers.

Tamra Seaton, the FCA WA state president, said “WA has not had a franchise expo for several years because the cost of running a traditional style event has made it simply unviable.  The WA Franchise Roadshow (which will be held on Sunday 9 November 2015 at Crown Perth) will not be a traditional expo but a smaller scale and lower cost event, designed to achieve all that the traditional expos do, but in a simple and cost effective way.

“The timing of the event is perfect given there are now so many ex-FIFO workers (and many more from related and supporting industries) in WA that are looking for new opportunities. Entry will be free for visitors and a free seminar program will run throughout the day. We encourage all franchisors that are looking for franchisees in WA to register for the event.”
