Just Cuts franchisees John and Monica Longmire have been awarded the 2013 Just Cuts Australia and New Zealand Franchise Owner of the Year award for their Belconnen, Woden and Cooleman Court salons.

This is the third National Franchise of the Year award for the couple. “We are very proud of our team members and our focus is on quality cuts at an affordable price,” the pair says.

John and Monica opened the first Just Cuts outside of Sydney in Westfield Belconnen in June 1994, and continued to open one salon a year for the next five years. Now the couple have pulled back to operating three salons to allow them more time with family.

“Next year is our 20th anniversary at Belconnen, since we brought the concept to Canberra, and to celebrate we have already planned some exciting offers for our clients which we will release in 2014. It is an exciting time as we have recently opened a new salon at Cooleman Court which is the latest in design in the network” says John.

Franchisee salons are judged on various areas of business performance, community contribution, local marketing; feedback from clients is also taken into account.
