Mrs Fields Australia to export coffee blend

The Australian arm of Mrs Fields has been selected to export its local coffee blend to the cookie company’s franchises around the world.

The news comes after a two year drive to match the franchise’s flagship cookie offering with high quality coffee.

Companies around the world to be using the blend, which was developed in conjunction with Victorian coffee roasters, Daily Roast Coffee, include new Mrs Fields master franchisees in China and Pakistan, with Indonesia, Russia and Vietnam expected to join in the near future.

Mrs Fields managing director, Andrew Benefield and his team will also be travelling to the Us next month to present the coffee to franchisees at their Convention via a fully functioning coffee bar.

Benefield said the fact that Australia is acknowledged as one of the most sophisticated coffee loving markets around the world was advantageous.

“Our coffee drinkers are tough markers so Mrs Fields has placed a great emphasis on our whole coffee operation. All our baristas are professionally trained. It is highly important for us to provide a respected coffee product along with great quality food.”
