Mvenpick in Australia has a new parent as Emerald Foods (Australia) snaps up the master franchise rights for the 22-strong ice-cream parlour network from Peters Ice Cream.
Damian Isbister, executive director of Emerald Foods (Australia), said the firm has been passionate about ice cream since it began in 1985.
“Our company already enjoys a wonderful relationship with Mvenpick as their representative in the New Zealand market, where we operate a number of very successful Mvenpick parlours.”
Emerald Foods also operates the New Zealand Natural ice-cream store network in Australia, which provides an existing support structure for the new network.
Mvenpick has build a reputation for its natural ingredients and indulgent ice cream, backed by Swiss standards and attention to detail.
Peters Ice Cream remains the distributor of Mvenpick products in all other channels in Australia.
