Michel’s puts the spotlight on coffee

The Michel’s Patisserie franchise has launched an advertising and marketing campaign to promote its award winning coffee blend and launch a new range of European-influenced coffees.

The campaign was launched this month by unveiling a new French Vanilla flavoured latte. The franchise will promote a new or existing coffee every month and other flavours to be showcased this year include a white mocha and a chocolate mocha.

Pia Harrison, national marketing manager at Michel’s, said the campaign aims to promote the quality of the coffee. “I think it’s been fairly unknown how great our quality is,” she said.

“Coffee is a major part of our business. It goes hand in hand with cake and so it seemed appropriate to put the spotlight on coffee, so to speak.”

Harrison also explained that the franchise’s baristas are the key to delivering award winning coffee and will be an important part in the marketing campaign.

“Michel’s Patisserie works hard to develop the skills and proficiencies of all our staff – from making the best soy macchiato to creating the tastiest double short black. Our baristas are some of the best in the industry, making great tasting and great looking coffees, and we intend to showcase this in our campaign,” she said.
