Fast food franchise Lord of the Fries is to open its first Perth outlet in William Street later this year.

Mark Koronczyk, director, said “We’re excited to finally be bringing Lord of the Fries to the West Coast and we know we’re coming to a welcoming market – there was even a petition for us to get here floating around!”

The WA franchisee has signed a minimum three-store license with Lord of the Fries.

The vegeterian fast food chain will be opening in Parramatta early next year and is in negotiations for master franchises for New Zealand and India.

“We are at the foot of some very exciting expansion plans and will release details as they are finalised,” said Koronczyk.

“In the past 12 months we have redesigned our menu; making it more aesthetically pleasing, adding food photography, changing the layout, look and feel. This has proved very successful.”

The company, which started in Victoria, continues to innovate.

B-Corp goals

“We’ve been working on becoming a B-Corp company, which has us refining our entire operation to become more socially responsible.”

B Corps are certified for stringent standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

“In terms of our franchise offering, it’s had a huge effect on our daily operations and has shaped the company moving forward so we’re attracting like-minded franchisees who believe in the vision we are trying to create and maintain.

“Our aim has always been to grow the business steadily and to have all our franchisees and company owned stores experiencing good growth. We’re very proud we have been able to achieve this thus far and plan to continue our profitable relationships in future.”
