Kumon is looking to open 24 new centres in 2017 with Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia comprising the main target areas.

As well as starting a new Kumon centres, franchise opportunities exist for individuals looking to takeover an established centre. This year, 14 centres are planned for takeover.

The start-up costs of a hired non-commercial venue starts at under $12,000. Kumon offers extensive training as well as ongoing professional development opportunities which include monthly seminars, national and international conferences, and mentoring programmes.
