The top executive of 7-Eleven Australia will be joining speakers from high profile business brands including eBay, Google and K-mart at this year’s National Franchise Convention.

Warren Wilmot has clocked up 20 years at 7-Eleven and previously worked for nine years with the Pizza Hut group. He was appointed CEO of the convenience store franchise group in 2002.

The line-up for the 2013 National Franchise Convention (NFC) includes senior business figures such as Guy Russo, managing director of K-Mart in Australia and New Zealand since 2008 and previously with McDonalds; Hamish Moline, eBay’s senior director for seller experience; and James Sanders, head of channel sales for the Asia Pacific region at Google.

The American-based International Franchise Association is fielding two speakers: Steve Caldeira (president and CEO) and John Reynolds, president of the IFA Educational Foundation.

A host of other business names from within and outside the franchising sector will be sharing their experiences with the assembled franchisees, franchisors and service providers.

The NFC13 will be held at Jupiters Hotel & Casino on the Gold Coast from Sunday 20 to Tuesday 22 October 2013.
