Just Cuts sports new livery

The first new-look Just Cuts salon has opened in Sydney’s northern beaches at Warriewood Plaza and marks a move away from a price-conscious profile to a focus on quality and service.

In a change from the bright blue and yellow corporate colours of the no appointment, fixed price hairdressing franchise, the concept store sports a white, clean cut livery with light wood panelling and curved edges.

Gary McCartney, managing director of brands in space, the retail design company commissioned to create the concept store, said “We wanted to deliver an environment that would enhance the Just Cuts’ experience, one in which premium customers would feel comfortable and regular customers would unintimidated.”

Alan Carroll, Just Cuts national business development manager, told Franchising “This is moving Just Cuts into a new era. We’re celebrating 20 years in franchising next year and this rebranding and new logo refreshes our look and appeals to a broader range of customer.”

Rolling out the new look across all franchise stores will take up to five years, predicts founder Denis McFadden.
