Just Better Care’s top franchise: staff pay and compliance are key

Get good staff and pay them well – that’s the key to running a successful business, according to Mike Padden of Just Better Care whose Sydney northern suburbs’ franchise has just scooped the top award in the home care provider group.

“I’ve always found recognising people financially before you reward them with other recognition is important,” Padden told Franchising. “We’ve got a tremendous group of people who really care about their clients. I am humbled by the incredible commitment shown by our staff to the people they care for and the extra effort they often take to ensure our clients are provided with the level of service they deserve. It is an honour for our staff to receive such an accolade.”

The Just Better Care franchise was awarded for its top performance. Founder and franchisor Trish Noakes said “The Northern Suburbs office absolutely shone this year, and the owners and staff in that office should be incredibly proud of their achievement.”

Padden acknowledged the commitment to franchisees shown by Trish Noakes and said compliance to the system was instrumental in his franchise success. “As the business has expanded Trish has seen more areas where franchisees need centralised support and has committed staff and resources to them. We’ve just followed the system very carefully.”
