Just Better Care heads to Victoria

Sarah Stowe

The home care franchise Just Better Care has set up its first office in Melbourne and will employ 35 local care workers.

Local staff employment is part of the policy of providing employment to people from the community it serves. The new employees come from Sunshine, Melton, Tarneit and Werribee.

Just Better Care provides care services and nursing care for people in their own homes for anyone who is elderly, frail or with disabilities. More complex services such as medications and diabetes monitoring are provided by a Registered Nurse.

John Roberts, principal, Just Better Care Melbourne West, said that the office is currently advertising for additional qualified Enrolled nursing staff to meet the growing demand for disability services in Melbourne’s West.

The care services franchise founder and director Trish Noakes told Franchising “This is a very exciting time for Just Better Care to be entering new territory and welcoming John to our extended JBC franchise family. He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in providing solutions that are meaningful in today’s society, adding to the strong caring dimension of Just Better Care in Melbourne West. I am looking forward to a very interesting year ahead with more office openings to be announced soon.”
