Jim’s Pool Care recruits 50th franchisee

Jim’s Pool Care, part of the Jim’s Group of home services, has reached a business milestone, signing up its 50th mobile pool shop franchisee.

Sydneysider Stephen Sofer is the latest recruit, and there are now Jim’s Pool Care franchisees in every state except the Northern Territory with plans to grow franchisee numbers to more than 70 over the next two years.

Division owner, Brett Blair believes the business’ success lies in being part of a nationally recognised franchise brand, plus having both retail and labour components with support from major national pool industry manufacturers.

“The last two years has seen some major growth with 17 franchisees coming on board,” he said.

Jim’s Group founder Jim Penman congratulated Blair on his business’ growth and success.

“Jim’s Pool Care was named the 2011 Jim’s Franchise Division of the Year because of the excellent support and service that Brett and his team provide to his franchisees. Franchisees are our number one priority and Brett has fully embraced this within his Pool Care division,” Penman said.

Another division of the Jim’s Group, Jim’s Fencing, is also on the lookout for new recruits, with regional WA franchisor Meesha Watson claiming the business can’t keep up with customer demand. Read more here.

Jim’s Building Inspections is also set to expand nationally, less than a year after its launch.
