Hudsons Coffee counts beans for local charities

Hudsons Coffee’s Sugar and Spice and Something Nice campaign began on 23 May and will run until 3 July with 50 cents from each vanilla latte and caramel cappuccino sold being donated to charities of the franchisee’s choosing.

Managers and franchisees from the 69 Hudsons stores around Australia have selected a local charity each including the RSPCA, Vision Australia, Windsor Stroke Kids Foundation and the Guide Dogs Association.

In the past, the coffee franchise has run similar initiatives, raising up to $10,000 for local charities with plans to double that amount with the Sugar and Spice campaign.

“We are very excited about launching this fundraising campaign. So many of our stores are already actively involved with or support charities within their communities, this combined initiative is a great way to help take their efforts to another level,” said Rebecca Lowth, marketing director from Hudsons Coffee.
