How Shop A Docket is boosting a franchisee’s business

Franchisee Bevin Jones is reaping the rewards of increased market share for his Domino’s franchise in Goulburn thanks to a Shop A Docket campaign.

The promotional tool has seen the store increase its customer numbers significantly.

When Jones took over the franchise two years ago at the age of 23, he’d already accumulated eight years’ experience in the fast food industry.

“My first job was working at Domino’s Nowra when I was 15. I eventually ended up managing a fast food restaurant at Bomaderry on the South Coast before deciding to work for myself by taking on the Domino’s franchise in Goulburn,” he said.

Shop A Docket

“I was already familiar with Shop A Docket because my family has always used them. We would always check the back of receipts to see what was available and I knew they were popular at the other places I worked.”

So it was a logical step for the young entrepreneur to implement a Shop A Docket campaign when he started in his own business.

“To tell the truth I was surprised at how well it worked. It exceeded all my expectations. At the moment we are seeing about 100 coupons come in each week. The return on investment has been impressive.”

Bevin contributes the success of his campaign to the reach of the coupons through Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Target and Big W.

“Not only does the Shop A Docket campaign increase foot traffic and phone calls but it really contributes to brand awareness. We’ll continue to use Shop A Docket as part of our mix in advertising in the area. We get great exposure and excellent return on investment.”
