Hot stuff to spice up your life

MadMex_Sponsored06.jpgAre you ready to get excited over Mexican food? And we mean really excited? A fabulous eating experience, for instance at a lively, casual bar serving freshly made cocktails? Well, Cantina de Mad Mex is the newest dining concept from the team at Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill. It’s a bar and eatery combined, and the coolest place to grab a bite and a drink.

Washed wood walls, terrazzo floors and shades of sea foam blue give the Cantina de Mad Mex a relaxed Californian beach shack vibe.

Just add a touch of Mexican spice and a margarita!

The Cantina, which means bar in Spanish, will be serving up Fresh Coconut Mojito, the Margo House Margarita and the El Santo Margarita with Don Julio tequila, fresh lime and orange juice with a chilli and lime-salted rim.

Delicious. And hot!

And of course everyone’s favourite dishes from Mad Mex will be on the menu – along with some tasty snacks that are just right for sharing with friends.

Because that’s what is so special about this exciting new concept. It’s relaxed, not formal; it’s not fast food, but service will be quick. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere.

Now you won’t find this brand new dining experience in the food courts around Australia. This is not an eat-on-the-run business model; it’s all about a laid-back, informal environment. It’s a whole new market for the Mad Mex business which predicts the dining precincts are going to be the premium sites of the future.

As Mad Mex CEO Clovis Young explains “Cantina de Mad Mex is a game changer for the business, designed for the future to cater for the growing trend towards a quality, casual dining experience with all the edge and fun expected from Mad Mex.”

The first-ever Cantina de Mad Mex has just opened at Westfield Kotara’s new rooftop dining precinct.

With seating for 80 people in its 160sqm footprint (130 inside and 30 outside), the new venue encourages diners to stay and enjoy their experience.

At the heart of Mad Mex is a mission to create the best burritos in the world based on premium quality ingredients and traditional and Baja recipes and cooking techniques.

With the Cantina de Mad Mex model the business can continue to follow its philosophy of fresh, authentic food and serve brand new customers the great taste of Mexican with a twist.

And not just Australian customers.

“By the end of 2016 Mad Mex plans to open 20 Cantina de Mad Mex in Australia and venture out into the international market including the Middle East and Asia,” says Young.
