Inside Franchise Business: LeWrap is opening more franchise storesWhich lunch time fast food favourite has plans to move into casual dining?

This home-grown Aussie brand that’s a quick, healthy eating option with a touch of the theatrical is expanding its horizons.

Le Wrap (which grills meals in front of customers) wants to scale up and has plans to open one unit a month over the next 12 months – and sees a future in the increasingly popular casual dining concept that mixes the swift service of takeaway with a more relaxed eating environment.

While the brand is Sydney based it is looking to take its fast fresh model nationally and could reach 80 to 100 stores across the country.

However, expansion will be measured as the brand remains selective about appointing franchisees and finding the right sites, says Bob Ozdemir, franchise development manager.

“We look for franchisees who have a skill base that contributes to the franchise,” he explains.
