Traditionally famous for take-away salads and sandwiches, healthy food franchise Sumo Salad is now offering a different form of eating experience. Last week saw the launch of its first Black Label concept store in Doncaster, Victoria, offering its customers exclusive fine dining in the evenings.

More Sumo Salad Black Label stores are due to open in Sydney Airport, London and Dubai.

Managing director for Sumo Salad, Luke Baylis, said, “With our new Black Label concept, weÕre really taking healthy fast-food to the next level by catering for those customers who love the taste and health benefits of the Sumo Salad menu, but want to actually dine in, in an appealing, restaurant style environment.”

Baylis continued, “It will also be great for those who want to eat out in the evening but are after a faster and more relaxed service than most traditional restaurants.”

The new concept store a centralised teppanyaki style hot plate so the customers can see their food being freshly prepared. The dŽcor includes warm lighting and marble stone bench tops, while the menu boasts fish and meats with a choice of gourmet salads or grilled vegetables.
