Ever dreamt of sharing a Lady and the Tramp style meal with your furry friend? A recent announcement from franchise favourites Gelatissimo sees the brand unveil a multi-species delicacy.

Gelatissimo’s Pawsome Peanut Butter is a smooth, vegan gelato that provides an innovative and ambitious take on taste.

Felipe Barbosa, Gelatissimo CEO said that while the move was a fun play on family inclusion, the addition had the potential to boost franchisee sales.

“It’s really important to us that we’re always catering to the whole family, and we all know that the family dog is just as much a part of that as anyone,” Barbosa said.

“We did a lot of research to make sure that this flavour is 100 percent dog and human approved so our customers can share a bit of fun and deliciousness with everyone – even their furry family members.”

To celebrate the new offering, Gelatissimo is also throwing a brunch party in Sydney on May 18.

Customers can enjoy freshly-scooped samples of the new flavour and vegan yum cha, with as well as vegan dog treats.

Pawesome Peanut Butter will be available in all 46 stores across Australia for a limited time only, while stocks last.
