Gelatissimo will soon open the doors to its 42nd store opening in Australia. 

Signalling the brand’s expansion into greater western Sydney, the store will open in Wetherill Park Stockland to service a rapidly expanding community following recent developments to the area.

The opening comes after franchisees and Wetherill Park locals, sister and brother team Le and Vu Nguyen noticed the lack of dessert options on offer in the Stockland and saw the opportunity to fill a gap in the market.

“Whenever my family and I visited the centre, we were always looking for a place to take our kids for a treat, so we’re proud and excited to be able to provide the local community with authentic and delicious gelato!”, she said. 

The sibling franchisees together boast a combined fifteen years in retail and customer service. 

“Gelatissimo is a family-oriented brand with community at its heart, so it felt like the perfect opportunity to work side-by-side with my brother on something we both love – gelato!”, said Le Nguyen.

Doors open on Saturday 10th June.

Gelatissimo currently has 59 stores, including 42 stores in Australia and 17 internationally. Founded in 2002, Gelatissimo is Australian owned and operated. The brand will target controlled growth this year.
