Sarah Stowe

Are you looking for a franchise system where you get to dictate the hours you work? Games2u, a mobile game theatre and entertainment business, is expanding nationally. Inside Franchise Business: Games2u franchisees can choose their hours.

“Our key market includes birthday parties, school vacation care, corporate events (team building), fairs, fetes and festivals,” said Con Klestinis, director.

“Our main activities are the mobile game theatre, a giant hamster ball, mobile laser tag, bumper balls, water tag and water roller.”

A mobile franchise, the business brings these activities to schools and homes. It can be run from home and franchisees can choose the amount of hours they work. Income potential rises with the level of work taken on. However, Klestinis said weekend and school holiday work is required of the business.

Games2u is looking to expand in untapped areas including Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory, with two to three franchises expected in each state in the next five years.

Franchisees can buy in for an investment of $200,000 + GST inclusive of all equipment, fully fitted van, and $45,000 initial fee. Marketing support is also available within the model.
