Franchise winners celebrated

Sarah Stowe

Franchise success was celebrated last week as top performers in Victoria and Tasmania vied for regional awards.

The Franchise Council of Australia’s Excellence in Franchising VIC/TAS awards shone the light on successful franchisees from those with just one member of staff through to multi-unit operators managing more than business unit.

Winners of these awards were rated for their excellence in business management and franchise citizenship.

Also in the spotlight, the regional Franchise Woman of the Year, and the local award for a highly proficient field manager.

To take out the Franchise Woman of the Year award requires entrants with at least three years’ experience in franchising to showcase their personal and professional achievements.

Of course the winning Field Manager of the Year is awarded for their excellent franchisee support.

The VIC/TAS winners

VIC/TAS Field Manager of the Year: La My Linh Tran, Roll’d Australia

VIC/TAS Multi-Unit Franchisee of the Year: Dan Blacklow, Hire a Hubby

VIC/TAS Single Unit Franchisee of the Year, two or more staff: Evan Davis, RAMS Home Loans

VIC/TAS Single Unit Franchisee of the Year, less than two staff: Glen Cammiade, EFM Health Clubs

VIC/TAS Franchise Woman of the Year: Jessica Saxby, Banjo’s Bakery Cafe

These winners now join other regional winners as finalists in the national awards to be held in October 2018.
