Portugese flame-grilled chicken franchise Nando’s is continuing its cheeky advertising with the latest campaign encouraging people to achieve the elevated state of Portugasm.

National marketing manager Justin Monaghan said “Portugasm is a celebration of the way you feel when you eat NandoÕs. While providing a great experience is serious business at NandoÕs we refuse to take life too seriously,” he said.

“Strong brands deliver compelling functional and emotional benefits. The aim of the Portugasm campaign is to communicate these benefits as they relate to NandoÕs,” Monaghan added.

“WeÕll be taking the Portugasm message to the streets using radio, out of home [billboards, posters] and online media. In the past weÕve encouraged people to get high on a little Peri-Peri,weÕre now taking it to a whole new level — the elevated state of Portugasm.”
