It’s double celebrations at Anytime Fitness Australia which is celebrating the fourth anniversary of its Australian launch and the 200th club opening.

The club belongs to successful multi franchisee Gavin Wanganeen and is located in Essendon, Victoria.

Gavin Wanganeen, former Australian Rules football player and Brownlow Medallist, is opening his third Anytime Fitness franchise only a year after his first club opening.

“When I came across the Anytime Fitness model, it was a no brainer to me,” said Wanganeen. “The support is there to make it happen smoothly and effectively, and the fact that it’s a 24 hour concept appealed to me too.

“Essendon has a lot of significance for me personally, as my first six years in the AFL were spent just around the corner from my Keilor Road Anytime Fitness site, at the Essendon Football Club.”

Brother-and-sister team Justin McDonell and Jacinta McDonell-Jimenez [pictured] are the master franchisees for Australia.
