“Partnering with universities and other educational institutions is something we have been thinking about for a while,” said Raw Energy operations manager Jay Giles in a report by Inside Retail.

“So when management at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) approached us, we jumped at the opportunity.”

“These two stores at USC are a pilot, a stepping stone to potentially bigger things,” said Giles.

“If they are a success we’ll pursue similar partnerships with educational institutions throughout Australia and offer the juice bar as a new franchise option.”

Raw Energy has been a player in the healthy fast food industry since it was established in 1998 in the Sunshine Coast and began franchising in 2008.
