Fastway franchisees take leap of faith

Sarah Stowe

Franchisees in the Fastway Couriers network required a burst of courage recently when the couriers’ gala awards evening was held at a bungy-jumping centre.

The gala event to celebrate top performance was part of Fastway‘s 15th annual Franchisee Conference at the Shangri-La Cairns. CEO Richard Thame said “The surprise location was a huge hit with our franchisees, many of whom took the plunge on the bungy or Minjin Swing. Occasions such as this help bring us together and remind us that we’re a company built on personal relations.”

The conference also served to introduce franchisees to Fastway’s brand revitalisation project, due to be rolled out from next week. Thame said “As Fastway grows within Australia and beyond, it’s vital that our branding reflects the positive changes taking place within our organisation. To achieve this, we’re refreshing our visual language, from the ground up, to better reflect Fastway’s continuing growth, progression and ambition.”
