FASTSIGNS continuing to grow

Nick Hall

FASTSIGNS International Inc.’s plans for expansion throughout New Zealand have been bolstered by an announcement that the company’s CEO, Catherine Monson will feature as keynote speaker at the Franchise Association of New Zealand’s 2018 National Franchise Conference.

The New Zealand push coincides with continuing Australian development for the brand, who operate under the SIGNWAVE banner, with recruitment for both sectors currently booming.

The conference, to be held on August 10 at Wairakei Resort, Taupo will explore new franchise opportunities, industry updates and franchising support for members of the New Zealand sector._

Monson and FASTSIGNS will be using the conference as an opportunity to showcase the brand to potential master franchisee candidates.

Mark Jameson, FASTSIGNS’ Executive Vice President of Franchise Support and Development said the brand views the New Zealand expansion as pivotal to its international franchising operations.

“As we continue to accelerate our international growth and build relationships with influential franchising associations around the world, the Franchise Association of New Zealand’s 2018 National Franchise Conference is the perfect opportunity for FASTSIGNS to showcase all we have to offer to potential Master Franchisees,” said Jameson.

“FASTSIGNS has had a presence in Australia for over 20 years, where the brand operates as SIGNWAVE®, and so we are fully equipped to grow the FASTSIGNS brand to New Zealand. We are looking forward to meeting with various qualified candidates during our visit next month.”

For potential master franchisees, the offer presents an opportunity to initiate FASTSIGNS operations in New Zealand, open new locations and help develop additional centres throughout the country.

The New Zealand move caps off an impressive run of expansion for FASTSIGNS, who opened 43 new locations in the U.S. and Canada, three in the U.K., and two in Australia, all in the past 12 months.

With a focus on its Co-Brand and Conversion franchise programs, the company is currently diversifying its franchisee portfolio, still actively recruiting in Australia whilst New Zealand expansion interest grows._

FASTSIGNS International, Inc. was ranked the #1 franchise opportunity in its category and 70 overall on Entrepreneur magazine’s 2018 Franchise 500®, the world’s first, best and most comprehensive franchise ranking.
