Domino’s takes a bigger slice of the pizza industry

Over the next twelve months, Australia’s largest pizza franchise, Domino’s Pizza, will be increasing its franchise footprint and expanding into new territories across Australia and New Zealand.

Already enjoying a 46 per cent share of the Australian pizza industry and a two-fold increase in franchisee applications over the past twelve months, Domino’s has now identified growth areas of the business, which include metro and regional store strategies.

“Currently we have approximately 55 new store territories across Australia and New Zealand, which we are actively looking for franchisees for,” said Domino’s franchise development manager, Pat McMichael.

“The key to unlocking the success of these new growth areas is in recruiting passionate and business-savvy franchisees who are willing to work hard to build a successful business with a recognised brand.”

Domino’s has 516 stores across Australia and New Zealand, making more than 50 million pizzas each year.
