The brand is set to expand in Perth, as well as in Brisbane and Sydney late this year and early next year. The leisure centre is open to regional and metropolitan areas for growth, with a preference for densely populated areas.

“Another four will be opened in Melbourne,” said Brett Aldons, director at Croc’s Playcentres.

The initial investment cost starts at $700,000+ GST, and the franchise model includes operational support in each state from Croc’s Playcentre and Foodco (Muffin Break). Franchisor assistance is also accessible for admin support, procurement, training, and marketing.

He added that two families running the partnered franchise brands are a common trend, so hands-on franchisees are ideal.

“We recommend you work in your business,” said Aldons.

Franchisees require a customer service background, high-paced retail experience, the ability to manage staff and conduct local area marketing.
