Couriers deliver bushfire relief foc

Fastway Couriers in Melbourne has transported free of charge more than 100 tonnes of donated goods from around Australia to bushfire areas. “We’ve been flooded with donations of household goods, food, beverages, toiletries and clothing from both local residents and business owners” said Greg Puzzolo, chief executive officer of Fastway Couriers, Melbourne.

Puzzolo was impressed by the stories of generosity. “One lady bought out the entire available stock of bottled water at her local supermarket and another bought a mountain of muesli bars to help sustain the energy levels of the front line firefighters. “At Fastway we’re simply doing our bit to ensure that these much needed items are in the hands of these people as quickly as possible,” he added.
