Contours show little sign of slowing down

Award-winning female fitness studio franchise Contours is set to open its 200th studio within the next few months. This rapid growth comes after celebrating its 100th studio opening in June 2007, followed shortly by its 150th studio just nine months later in March 2008. As a result Contours is now one of AustraliaÍs fastest growing franchises, opening on average two studios per week.

Contours CEO Dave Hundt said, “More than three years after its launch, Contours continues to snowball as others see the success of current franchises and decide to invest in their own studio.”

Hundt added, “The strength of the franchise model is evident in that over 40% of franchisees now operate multiple units.” Growth of Contours members has also increased significantly, surging from 25,000 to 40,000 in the last 12 months; an increase of more than 60 per cent.

As well as offering a brand name, Contours offers all franchisees extensive studio support with set-up, marketing and day-to-day operational assistance. A free enquiry line is also available, along with an intranet that acts as a ïone-stop-shopÍ for all franchisee needs including key contacts, marketing library and online training.
