Mobile coffee franchise Xpresso Delight has dipped into profits and raised $10,000 for the Cancer Council as part of the 2009 AustraliaÕs Biggest Morning Tea appeal.

Xpresso Delight co-founders Stephen Spitz and Paul Crabtree presented the $10,000 cheque to the Cancer Council and said they were proud to have reached the companyÕs national donation target.

“The work of the Cancer Council is something we support fully and we couldnÕt be happier about being involved,” Spitz said.

“An important part of business for us is being able to give something back. With AustraliaÕs Biggest Morning Tea our clients were able to donate to a great cause just by drinking Xpresso Delight coffee in their workplace.”

Cancer Council representative Hayley Mill said she was delighted with the donation.

“We rely on public generosity and the support of community minded businesses like Xpresso Delight to help fund the Cancer CouncilÕs vital research and support services,” she said.

“Thanks to this kind of great work we have already raised $7 million and can hopefully reach our overall fundraising goal for 2009 of $11 million.”
