Offering franchises in a rewarding and fulfilling industry, the home-grown brand specialises in soccer programs for children up to eight years old.

“The early childhood sector is changing where a lot of physical education and gross motor skills are part of the curriculum,” said Stacy Alogdellis, managing director.

“Children’s services has huge growth potential and growth models.”

For 2017, Soccajoeys plans for two franchises to open in Western Australia, and a further seven in Victoria. Both metropolitan and regional areas are targeted in the expansion.

“We’re looking ideally for (franchisees) that are energetic, have drive, passion and interest in childhood development,” said Alogdellis.

He added that any other skills required to run the franchise is taught.

The brand also has plans to grow in Southeast Asia, with two master franchisees in Singapore set to begin within the first quarter of 2017.

The initial investment cost of a Soccajoeys franchise is $30,000 for a 5 + 5 year term. Support from head office and area managers on the ground is provided, and all programs and curriculum are supplied on a termly basis. Whilst franchisees take care of their own local marketing, a dedicated marketing team also works with franchisees to plan and develop campaigns. Franchisees are required to undergo a Working with Children Check.
