“We’re looking for aggressive growth predominantly in metropolitan areas and major regional centres,” said Alan Biddle, CEO.

The carpet and upholstery cleaning brand is planning to open 20 new franchises in the 2016-17 financial year and another 24 in the year after.

“The brand will have more emphasis on structured systems with network development managers,” he added.

Biddle explained that network development managers would mentor and develop franchisees, and focus on their “individual unit growth” so that franchisee goals can be achieved.

With over 40 products green certified, Chem-Dry will focus on research and development in the long term.

“We have a lot of support in keeping the brand refreshed,” he said.

The initial investment cost of a Chem-Dry franchise is $39,950 + GST (not including vehicle) for a turnkey model, with equipment, product, and marketing support. Franchisees can select their own vehicle in good condition under this model, or opt for the $69,090 + GST investment inclusive of a vehicle.

Ideal franchisees have superior communication and customer service skills, and are proactive in developing client leads.
