Cheesecake Shop launches online promo to find Australia’s top dad
A social media campaign to find Australia's Hottest Dad is the latest initiative from The Cheesecake Shop which is using Facebook and Twitter to encourage entries.
The promotion launched on 15 August and entrants are invited to share a picture, video or text entry on the company's Facebook page that shows off their nominated father.
Marketing manager Peter Dable said "With more than 61,000 likers on Facebook we find social media promotions are hugely popular with a large proportion of our customers, especially young families."
As part of its overall marketing strategy The Cheesecake Shop is confident this latest promotion will increase its social media following, and engage with customers in a fun way.
Up for grabs are prizes worth $5000 from Harvey Norman for the winner, and other prizes from Rays Outdoors, Barbeques Galore, ENJO, Yonanas, Fiskars and Brita water filtration.
The winner will be announced mid September.
