Burger franchise to expand in NSW in 2017

Sarah Stowe

A burger franchise known for its chicken burgers is expanding in Sydney, with five new outlets set to open in 2017.

Little L, a family business, began in 2008 and set out to make the best chicken burgers. Embedded in the local Bondi community, the first Little L casual dining experience became so popular, that the opportunity to grow the business was the obvious next step.

In 2017, the business is targeted to increase its franchise locations in Sydney to five, with up and coming vibrant inner city locations already in the pipeline.

The first Little L was started by a family, and that culture will permeate through the franchise network.

The initial investment of a franchise begins at $300,000 for a five year term with an option to renew. This includes initial training, store design, and assistance with site and lease negotiation. A new franchisee will receive marketing and administrative support to help grow the business. There is a two percent marketing levy, and a seven percent ongoing royalty fee.
