Bing Boy rolls out gluten free range

Asian fast food franchise Bing Boy has released a new gluten free range, expanding its offering for customers.

The lunch time favourite “bings”, i.e. Chinese-style wraps are normally made with flour and water, but the menu adjustment will make way for gluten free alternatives made from buckwheat flour, free-range eggs and almond milk.

“Those with intolerances now have the opportunity to enjoy the delicious flavours of our crowd-favourite bings, such as the ‘Ching Ching’ with marinated chicken, avocado, salad, snow-pea sprouts and sweet soy sauce, with a gluten free wrap of course,” said Ming Liang Ma, founder and managing director.

But it’s more than just about offering a suitable menu alternative for the gluten-intolerant. It’s also aimed at the health conscious.

“The gluten free bing is ideal for the health conscious as it’s highly nutritious, flavoursome, and equally as satisfying as the original bing – you wouldn’t even know it’s gluten free,” said Bill Petropoulos, menu consultant.

Bing Boy was established in 2011, with franchises in Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia.
