Big year for Boost’s big 1-0

Sarah Stowe

Take-away juice and smoothie franchise, Boost Juice, is this year celebrating its 10th birthday with celebrations kicking off in March.

National marketing and promotions manager, Rachel Bitzilis, said “Boost has an incredible year of activity planned to celebrate our big ‘one-oh’ with the goal to not only promote that we have reached a milestone, but to really set the tone for the business for the ten years ahead.”

Celebrations involve the company’s biggest ever customer promotion, where customers will have the chance to win one of 10 holidays to a “fruit-based” location.

“This will be followed by a year of really strong product based and tactical campaigns to help excite both our franchised partners and our customers,” Bitzilis said.

The business currently operates 180 stores throughout Australia, 160 of which are franchised, making it the largest and fastest growing juice and smoothie chain in the southern hemisphere.

“Boost will also be focusing very strongly on our VIBE customer loyalty program and the opportunities that exist within the digital space. From a VIBE perspective, our goal is to increase our database size from 350,000 to 500,000 before year-end, to have one of the largest and most popular loyalty programs in Australia,” Bitzilis said.

Franchisees have been involved in creating Boost’s plans for 2010, sharing ideas on how they and their customers would like the business to develop. They will also have the opportunity to attend a formal 10th birthday celebration later in the year.
