Dessert franchise ramps up its hiring practices designed to support franchisees.

According to a report by Inside Retail, ice-cream retailer Baskin-Robbins has announced a shake-up in its hiring practices, partnering with recruitment company Skilld to grow its local employment base.

The national partnership will utilise geo-targeting and programmatic algorithms to match a pool of potential employees with Baskin-Robbins stores.

The franchise is looking to expand the partnership across its network of 88 stores across the country, which will enable franchisees to access a network of more than 120,000 users.

“Finding the right team members is so important, so having the ability to find compatible candidates in the surrounding areas so efficiently is invaluable for Baskin-Robbins and our franchise partners,” said general manager Ben Flintoff.

“Using the new technology offered through Skilld will enable us to easily find local candidates for our stores across Australia,” he added.
