Awards for Boost Juice achievers

Sarah Stowe

Boost Juice Bars celebrated great business achievements among its franchisees recently at a gala awards night at the annual conference at the Hyatt Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast.

Winning pair Rob and Jo Tedesco [pictured] scooped the top title, Partner of the Year, for their four outlets in Adelaide.

The pair commented: “Winning business partner of the year is confirmation of the amazing team we have created here at Boost Juice. This award is a reflection of our drive and commitment to the brand, and our reward for effort and determination, a tribute to our successful amazing team. We would also like to thank Boost Juice for their ongoing support.”

Geoff Hargreaves, a Brisbane franchisee with two outlets at Mount Ommaney and Morayfield, was named Rookie Partner of the Year.

Hargreaves said “Wow, what a journey, it’s been an incredible 12 months. This is simply the best business decision we have made in joining the Boost network. They have been helpful, extremely supportive, and very professional in guiding us through our first year in the system.”

And there was more excitement when Brisbane Myer Centre franchisee Andrew Blair was the lucky winner of a VW Polo in a raffle which raised more than $10,000 for the Boost Charitable Foundatio. The foundation offers support to disadvantaged and vulnerable teens.

Boost Juice Malaysia was awarded the International Partner of the Year accolade.

State winners:

  • Vic/Tas: Chris Capeci
  • NSW/ACT: Dan Mesiti and Ant Stahl
  • QLD: Andy Stribling
  • SA/NT: Rob and Jo Tedesco
  • WA: Venkatesh Sundarom

More than 300 franchisees attended the conference.

Scott Meneilly, chief operating officer of Retail Zoo which has both Boost Juice and Salsa’s Fresh Mex Grill in its portfolio, said there would be fresh marketing initiatives coming up for the brand as well as a new TV commercial, and a mobile ordering system.

“The Gold Coast didn’t disappoint this year, and we’re already in planning mode for next year’s Boost conference in Fiji,” he said.
