Australian franchisees take global awards at Domino’s

A Domino’s multi-unit franchisee has taken the global group’s top award for the third consecutive year. Nick Knight, who owns 16 stores across Sydney, snared the International Gold Franny for his exceptional performance.

Regarded as the most prestigious international accolade in the Domino’s group, the award recognises outstanding leadership, integrity and vision, continually showcasing excellence in service, operational performance, sales and stores growth, and pizza quality while being hands-on with operations.

The accolade is awarded to franchisees whose store and franchise operations exceed the strict international standards set by Domino’s.

This year two other Australian franchisees also gained the prestigious award: Jason Hardy at Domino’s Alexander Heights, and Greg Steenson, from Domino’s East Maitland.

The three franchisees will be presented with the awards at the Domino’s International Rally in Las Vegas.

Don Meij, Domino’s CEO, praised the three franchisees and their consistent ability to “give 150 percent and show leadership to others”.

  • Last year Nick Knight became the poster boy for the pizza brand’s campaign to promote an improved Hawaiian pizza.
