Amazing Clean upsells

Sarah Stowe

Eight years ago this blind cleaning and repair franchise extended its service to also include curtain and fabric care which covers mattresses, fabric and leather lounges.

While franchise sales have remained stagnant over the past couple of years, the business now plans to expand, particularly in Western Australia which has more than 14 franchisees and another 10 opportunities available.

“We are planning on up-selling as many of our existing blind franchisees to take on the curtain franchises as well, as we have found that they work at their best when you have the dual franchises,” says Glenn McMahon, Amazing Clean franchisor.

“To date we have nine existing franchises signing up to take on the curtains – that will take it up to over 22 curtain franchises – and 54 blind franchises in Australia and New Zealand. We are now only going to sell the franchises as a dual as it makes for a far better business proposition.”

Amazing Clean will also be using this year’s Perth Expo to look for a master franchisee for its South Australian market, where according to McMahon, interest continues to grow.
