Allied Brands plans to expand three of its franchises into Western Australia

In an aggressive expansion plan, Baskin Robbins, Cookie Man and Kenny’s Cardiology, all owned by Allied Brands, are to launch across Western Australia. This comes after Allied Brands secured $10 million to fund further growth to significantly boost presence in WA over the next year.

Baskin Robbins currently boasts 81 stores, Cookie Man 51 and KennyÕs Cardiology has 33. However managing director of Allie Brand, Peter Graham, expects this to rapidly increase over the next 12 months. He wants to focus on the West, in particular Perth and to the north and south, instead of the eastern seaboard as has been the case in the past.

“Specialist greeting card retailer KennyÕs Cardiology currently has two stores in WA. We expect to increase that to 18 over the next 18 months with negotiations for the first eight additional stores now in the final stages.” Graham continued, “Our other brands — Baskin Robbins and Cookie Man — are earmarked for similar expansion from their current stores numbers of eleven and three respectively.”
