10 stores for Gotcha Fresh Tea

Gotcha Fresh Tea is looking for new franchisees for its bubble tea concept.

Right now there are four Australian stores in Melbourne, two of which are franchised. A new corporate-owned flagship concept store at will open at Melbourne Central late in the year.

Orlando Sanpo, business development manager of parent company EFC Group Australia, said “With another 10 stores in the pipeline for 2019 including expansion into the Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide markets, we are ready to make our mark on the Australian market.”

Gotcha Fresh Tea offers handcrafted teas, collagen teas, and milk teas, teas with milk foam, macchiato, lattes, fruit teas, luxury teas, smoothies and health milk tea. Each tea is freshly brewed for an individual order. The company claims the teas also offer health benefits.

The EFC Group Australia, whose other ventures include Da Long Yi Hot Pot, and Ji Yu Thai Hot Pot, is led by Roger Fu (responsible for designing the Gotcha Fresh Tea interiors), Orlando Sanpo and Joeyn Loo.

The trio have a mission to bring diversified food cuisines and cultures to the Australian market.

Ideal Gotcha Fresh Tea locations are high foot traffic areas populated by the target customers: a mix of students and young professionals from both Eastern and Western demographics.

Potential franchisees need to have hospitality-experience and a  passion for the brand. While some franchisees will come from sibling brands in the group, Sanpo told Inside Franchise Business “most of them are big business owners who recognise the opportunities of the Gotcha brand and want to be a part of our exciting growth”.
