Narellan Pools has gone against the tide by appointing a new franchise general manager not from the franchise or pool industry.

The company has appointed Andrew Latta, who has experience in senior management roles.

Managing director Chris Meyer said appointing someone outside the pool and franchise industries was a strategic move.

“We were seeking a fresh perspective from someone with a depth of experience, education, professionalism and drive to propel us to the next level,” he said.

Meyer said that with Andrew’s experience and passion for the company’s vision, Narellan Pools brand will grow their franchise network, increase the sales and profitability of its existing franchisees and increase market share.

Latta’s recent general management roles have been within the construction material and healthcare industries. He is qualified with an engineering degree and an MBA.

“I am passionate about our vision to be the world’s best and most loved pool brand and am committed to seeing Narellan Pools perform and achieve its phenomenal potential, including expanding our franchise network,” Latta said.
