Nanotek adds admin technology to support franchisees and adds to global footprint

Car cleaning franchise Nanotek has signed up a mobile Point of Sale system for Australian and New Zealand franchisees which will also serve as the platform for customer management and loyalty programs.

CEO Jim Cornish said “With our mobile POS franchisees can record customer details and invoice on the spot. This not only reduces admin time, it gives the franchisee a precise picture of their business in real time.

From a head office marketing perspective it means we can provide better support to our franchisees than ever before.”

The focus on technology is intended to drive the domestic business and set benchmarks for global operations.

Nanotek is spreading its brand further across central Europe with the signing of a master franchisee for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and an area development agreement for Austria.

The latest operations are scheduled for a March 2013 launch and will be headed up by Robert Emila and Tomas Habanik, based in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Emila said “From day one we start with an international track record and momentum that is already building from other successful operations in Europe and Russia; this is a service that we believe will revolutionise car care in Eastern Europe.”

The Nanotek model uses a liquid polymer technology to clean and finish vehicle paintwork without the use of water.

Business development manager Adam Stone said “Not only can we literally wash a car anywhere, we can deliver a quality well beyond that of traditional car washing. If you compare us to the expense of a fixed site car wah or the limitations of a tradtional mobile car detailer, our franchisees have both a financial and a reach advantage from day one.”
